Seguin Elementary sprang into life in the school year of 2004-2005 with an educational mission of involving parents and the entire community in educating and nurturing all students while addressing academic and social needs. The Tejano political and military figure of the Texas Revolution and the Republic of Texas, Juan Nepomuceno Seguin, maintained that all can be accomplished with faith, patriotism, and family. All of the personnel at this school also share Seguins belief. With an average enrollment of 800 students from various social and economic groups, it should come as no surprise that challenges are always present. Our staff is working together with tenacity in improving the education and personal lives of children which has resulted in students blossoming; thus, our school motto is Winning Together. The future is sure to see these students growing up to be productive and contributing members of society, the ultimate goal of any school.
